Welcome to the Louise and Charmian blog.

Welcome. I'd like to say a big thank you to all the supporters of the Louise and Charmian Campaign. We've been overwhelmed by the number of people who have signed the petition and offered their condolences. It is also extremely encouraging that people outside of Australia are taking part, as evident by our new online petition.

This blog has now been created to post your messages to Louise and Charmian's family and friends.

Thank you
Melissiah

To the family of Louise and Charmain, I understand the pain you are feeling, my sister Linda was abducted from St Kilda on 10 August 1968 she was 7 years old and has never been seen since. There is no closure and no where for our loved ones to rest. Almost 40 years but as I'm sure you feel as tho it were only yesterday the pain is so strong. Good Luck with your search and I hope you have found inner peace..

Where are Louise and Charmian?

I am the brother of Louise Faulkner and, of course, the uncle of Charmian.

I have been unable to give much assistance to Melissiah and John, my niece & nephew, in their efforts to discover the fate of their mother and sister.

I have however followed the Herculean and expensive efforts of Melissiah and John to find them.

George Sutherland’s refusal to testify at the Coroners Inquest on the grounds that he may incriminate himself is, in my opinion tantamount to a confession.

Those present at the adjourned inquest have no doubt in the matter after the conflicting evidence of Sutherland’s wife.

There have been many occasions where charges have been laid without the evidence of a body.

Why doesn't Sutherland give the family some closure by at least answering questions about his own little daughter?

At 85 years of age what has he got to lose?

Summon him, and if he doesn't answer, charge him with contempt.

There have been numerous examples of rewards for information offered over the intervening years, why not in this case where the great cost to the remaining children and trauma to the family is a tragedy

This case is a disgrace. What an absolute tragic story in so many ways.

I will personally call the minister Tues (29th Jan) to start pursuing some justice for the silenced victims, and the police as well.

Clearly this pathetic monster is not going to assist in any way resolving the circumstances of the disappearance of Louise and Charmian. Let a jury sort him out with the obvious nature of his guilt by virtue of his actions (pre and post their murder) and his continuing disposition to come forth with a sentiment of genuine concern even to this day - what an impotent degenerate - let him die a terrible death in gaol - do you know what they do to the child killers in gaol???

As for the supportive mole who is so obviously an accessory after the fact, blatantly lying at the coronial inquest to look like a nice law abiding innocent citizen - let that cow also perish in gaol for many years - and the girls in gaol don't like ANYONE who has ANYTHING to do with baby killers either - Beryl dear, I know what you've done, your day will come... soon

I was playing a David Bowie video on youtube and wondered why the song info mentioned the disappearance of Charmain and Louise. Who were they? It was strange as I had never heard of them before. I live in Melbourne. I did a google search and up came this website. I read the story and the open letter to George. I am at work at the moment on Friday night. I just cant find the words to describe my feelings when I comprehend the tragedy of this story and the utterly incomprehensible incompetance and stone walling of the police and State Government. What a travesity of injustice. May the potato farmer spend his entire life locked in an internal prison of guilt and chronic misery. God Bless the family of Louise and Charmain.
