June Lilian TURNER
DOB: 27/10/1920?

My grandfather Charles Bernard Unmack

I am not sure which great grandmother this is either Unmack or Ferguson

Adele and Lyne

Charles Unmack

Julie Alice Sprenger

Whilamina Unmack -wife of Charles

Christopher Unmack

Plea:

June Lilian is the daughter of Sophie Adelaide Unmack & George Mills who was my great aunt. She married a man by the name of John Turner in NSW approximatey 1942 I am looking for any children that may be alive and would like to talk to them. I am an only child and I am trying to trace all family. My grandfather was Charles Bernard Unmack his mother was Elizabeth Unmack (Lily) they came from Bendigo.

June's mother was the eldest of the family, there were two more daughters who died at an early age. Charles Bernard was my Grandfather, then there was Harry and Jules. Lily their mother went to Nth Sydney when Jules was about 13 years old as they had no work here in Victoria. Their father had died in 1917. Both Charles and Sophie were married in 1916. From what I am told Sophie was the black sheep of the family. I believe she died in Sutherland hospital in 1966. Her mother died in 1936 in Nth Sydney.

My mothers name was Adele Ruby Unmack she married James Wilson. Aunt Beatie, was Jules wife and my mother and father. Alfred was my great grandfathers brother. Julie and Alice Sprenger was the Sprenger side of the partnership in the butcher shop, Sprenger married and Unmack. The grave of Charles & Whilaminia is in Bendigo Cemetary.

Harry has a son called Doug he is in his late 70's and lives in NSW I contacted him but he does not seem to know anything. He asked me to contact his niece which I did she is Harry's granddaughter and in the same situation as myself she has know other family members eg: mother alive.

If anyone knows the whereabouts of any family memebers could you please arrange to get in contact with me. Thankyou so much.

- Lynette
Second cousin of June Turner
