In the early evening of the 26 April 1980, Louise and her daughter Charmian were standing outside their flat at 39 Acland St St Kilda just opposite the Christ Church when a white Holden utility pulled up and double parked. Just before getting into the vehicle Louise mentioned to her neighbour that the driver of the vehicle was her potato farmer boyfriend. The neighbour briefly glanced into the vehicle and observed the driver to be an older thick-set Australian male. Louise placed her backpack in the rear of the ute before she and Charmian alighted. Plea: "I was only 16 when Louise and Charmian went missing. The disappearance and death of my mother and sister has caused immeasurable grief, suffering and hardship. I would like the person responsible to own up and reveal where they have hidden the bodies. If anyone else has further information I would like that person to come forward - it will be a huge weight off your conscience. At the very least Louise and Charmian deserve a proper funeral."
