Circumstances: Stacy left his parent's home in Melbourne amicably in 1992 to work his way around Australia. Until April of 1994 he was in regular contact with his family. His family last heard from him by phone on April 20 1994 when he called from Amidale New South Wales asking for help with money. Stacy informed his parents he was stranded in Armidale after his girlfriend had stolen his car.

His family deposited funds into his account which he withdrew from the bank. At the time Stacy was living in university accommodation at Dixon Place in Lismore Heights and was working in a local bar. Stacy was not a student but is believed to have been sharing a flat with someone who was. After withdrawing the money Stacy has not been seen or heard of since and there are concerns for his safety and welfare. It is now known that Stacy had been married for a short period of time before his disappearance.

Plea: "Stacy we love you and miss you and are desperate to know that you are safe. We will abide by your wishes if you don't want to contact us, but we need to know if you are ok. We would also like to make a plea to any other person out there who has information about Stacy to come forward"

Your mother, father and brother.
